The CSSS Alphonse-Desjardins has several specialized centers of expertise and services with a regional and even supraregional mandate for some.

The Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis Family Planning and Gynecology Center offers a range of specialized services designed to meet the reproductive health needs of the population of the Chaudière-Appalaches region.

The Interdisciplinary Center for Pain Management is a medical organization where patients with a problem of pain and particularly chronic pain are assessed and treated.

The Complex Wound Clinic offers a service for the assessment, investigation and treatment of patients with chronic wounds.

The Quebec Breast Screening Program (PQDCS) offers a mammogram every two years to women aged 50 to 69. This screening test is the only one recognized by scientists able to reduce the risk of death from breast cancer.

Inaugurated in March 2011, the Center Desjardins – Interdisciplinary Center for Cancer Control (CILAC) aims to meet the growing needs of cancer treatment by offering clients an optimal treatment environment.

The Quebec Diving Medicine Center (CMPQ) offers a medical assistance service for professional divers and recreational divers in Quebec, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In May 2012, the Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis of the CSSS Alphonse-Desjardins took delivery of its new hyperbaric chamber. With this new acquisition, the Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis department of hyperbaric medicine becomes the largest hospital service in Canada.

The Clinical Coordinating Unit for Pre-Hospital Emergency Services (UCCSPU) is a clinical shelf that provides remote medical support for patients whose health is unstable. With the intervention of the UCCSPU, these patients can benefit from certain treatments not previously available, in addition to initiating the collection of clinical information useful for their management.
